Since I finished the game once, on Easy mode, and am close to do it again, this time on Medium, I guess I qualify as a Legend of Rock :-)
Truth be said, I actually play the real thing (even if I'm very rusty), so this really isn't a big a surprise, but is also far from obvious. Why, do you ask? Due to the differences between a real guitar and the Wii control which ships with the game. However, the game gets really difficult on Hard and Expert modes, which I can attest to based on my time with the game. In fact, some people claim Guitar Hero 3 is much harder than Rock Band (and please let's ignore the lawsuits, shall we? ;-)
The song selection is pretty good, my favorite being Never Mind the Bollocks, by the Sex Pistols, and makes for an easy and sensible increase in game difficulty. The biggest downside of the Wii version is that it doesn't have music downloads (what were the guys at Neversoft thinking?! The Wii has Wi-Fi!) . In typical Wii fashion, the graphics look previous-gen, but it's not a big deal given the fact that music is the main focus of the game. All in all is a great game, worth the price of the admission ticket (around $90 at the time I got it). Rock on!

I had no idea Guitar Hero was harder than Rock Band for guitar. I guess you will be ready to master Rock Band on guitar easily.
Nah ... the admission ticket for that one is too expensive
After a long break, I'm back at it and finished the game again, this time on Medium. A funny side effect of playing this game is you start to like some songs that otherwise you'd never even bother to listen to.
